The Shaffer Insurance Agency was established in Aug 2003. It was started with a vision of offering a wide variety of insurance products with the customer in mind. That’s how our motto, “Coverage you need, Service you deserve” was created.
Brian started his insurance career in 1991 as a front desk clerk in his parent’s agency. He quickly realized that he enjoyed working with people & helping them with complex decisions concerning their insurance needs. After his parents retired in 1999, Brian had the opportunity to become an agency manager for an independent agency, where he was able to broaden his insurance knowledge & management skills. Three years later, after becoming an agency partner, he envisioned starting a new agency in his home town. After much prayer & thought, Brian & Leslie decided to open Shaffer Insurance Agency in Florence.

Brian and Leslie Shaffer live in Marsbluff (Florence) along with their three children Kimrey, Kaiden and Kellyn. Brian's insurance career began in 1991 when he started working at his parents State Farm Agency in Marion, SC.
